‘Deadline’ is set for release on Friday February 27 via YG Entertainment.

The collection shares its name with BLACKPINK’s ongoing stadium world tour, which is due to conclude later this month in Hong Kong.

According to Consequence, ‘Deadline’ will feature the band’s latest single ‘Jump’. The “intense, addictive” song was released last July, marking BLACKPINK’s first new material in three years.

The group have teased the upcoming mini album by sharing a dramatic promo clip online – tune in here:

BLACKPINK have not yet revealed a tracklist for the EP, or its official cover artwork.

‘Jump’ landed at Number 11 on NME‘s 25 best K-pop songs of 2025 list. “There’s a visceral sense of movement as the track progresses towards the entrancing outro, as the girl group crank up the bass to earth-shattering levels to keep you on the dancefloor,” the entry read.

All four members of BLACKPINK have been busy with other projects recently.

In 2024, Rosé teamed up with Bruno Mars’ for the hit song ‘APT.’. The single later surpassed a billion streams on Spotify (making it the fastest song by a K-pop artist to do so), won Song Of The Year at the MTV VMAS, and was named as one of NME’s 50 best tracks of 2024. Rosé’s debut album, ‘Rosie’, was released in December of that year.

Lisa dropped a solo record, ‘Alter Ego’, in early 2025. The single ‘Born Again’ saw her team up with Doja Cat and Raye. She starred in season three of HBO’s The White Lotus, too.

Jennie’s first solo album, ‘Ruby’, came out last March. She’ll perform at NYC’s Governors Ball and Madrid’s Mad Cool Festival this year.

Jisoo shared her EP ‘Amortage’ last year, and appeared in various South Korean TV series and films.

BLACKPINK’s ‘Deadline’ tour included two massive concerts at Wembley Stadium in London, where they performed a cover of Spice Girls’ ‘Wannabe’.
